Il podere “BUCINE” entró a far parte della famiglia Castaldi negli anni 20’, dove vi lavoravano come mezzadri.
Il podere che apparteneva alla famiglia Pecchioli, veniva chiamato “ Il giardino dei nostri poderi”. Quando Adolfo Castaldi arrivó al Bucine aveva solo 2 anni, e qui assieme ai suoi fratelli vi crebbe e vi costruí a sua volta la sua famiglia. Attorno agli anni 70’, la figlia di Adolfo (Fausta Castaldi) sposó il Fiorentino Luciano Meli,
Il quale rimasto incantato dalla semplicità della vita contadina decise di vivere anche lui al Bucine E negli anni 80 assieme comperarono la colonica e tutto il podere.
Nel 2016 Lucia Meli ed il cognato Loreto Cardella hanno iniziato a produrre Chianti Classico docg, inserendo sul mercato un ottimo e genuino prodotto vinicolo.

We saw a small sign from the village of Montefioralle and took a chance walking about 300meters up a small gravel road. At first it seemed closed but the owner walked out of his home and we had a personal vertical tasting of six years of his Chianti Classico with descriptions of the weather that lead to the production. It is an extremely small production and was without a question one of the most intimate wine experiences we had on our trip. I would make the highest recommendation of a stop here. The pricing of the wine tasting and the wine were an extraordinary value. And the view was fantastic!

Incredible tasting with local craftsman who explained the family wine making process. We did a vertical tasting with wines from 2016 to 2020 and had an amazing view of the Montefioralle village in the background.

Abbiamo avuto la fortuna di degustare tutte le annate e ci siamo veramente goduti questo buon Chianti Classico, grati della simpatia e professionalità dei ragazzi e innamorati della location in quel di Montefioralle! Grazie e alla prossima!

Piccola azienda nel Chianti fiorentino con una vista bellissima del castello montefioralle... Il chianti classico è OTTIMO.
